Throughout my professional teaching career, I have worked in more than 20 different countries around the world, and trained thousands of singers and hundreds of voice teachers. And, it is with that much experience and exposure that I say, Ryan Luchuck is by far one of the greatest discoveries in the world of music and singing. Anyone lucky enough to train with him will grow quickly and he will do it in the most positive, encouraging environment possible. He is dedicated to the growth of others and he is a constantly trying to better himself. He never stops studying which means he understands what it is to be a student and therefore is very empathetic to the challenges of his students. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I kept going flat on notes, or squeezing or my voice just fell apart....Just under a year, i was SURE this was the way to go - my voice has experienced the biggest breakthrough! I could now reach highnotes a lot of the time without yelling, or straining, or going flat....I'm so happy to be Ryan's student, and I'm sticking with him throughout my training . Thanks Ryan!

Less than 2 years ago, I would sing by pulling up my chest voice and yelling my high notes. I sometimes felt scared to sing in public, worrying that my voice would crack or I wouldn't reach the note properly. Then, I started taking lessons from Ryan, and at first the voice he brought out from me felt really weird. I never even knew I had that voice and it was hard to control. I kept going flat on notes, or squeezing or my voice just fell apart. Ryan was patient and persistent, never letting me get away with my mistake, making sure i fixed it each time. Just under a year, i was SURE this was the way to go - my voice has experienced the biggest breakthrough! I could now reach highnotes a lot of the time without yelling, or straining, or going flat. I don't just sing western music but also Indian classical so I'd bring some Indian pieces to Ryan. And even though he hadn't heard a lot of Indian classical, he worked with it and gave me excercses that fixed the problem I was having with that song. I felt relieved that i wouldn't have to stop my Indina training. I'm so happy to be Ryan's student, and I'm sticking with him throughout my training . Thanks Ryan!
"From the very first lesson, he had me using my voice without any strain. This was a miracle to me! Ryan is not just someone who knows how to sing, he knows how to teach.... there is a big difference....Ryan's guidance has me singing with an effortlessness I've always dreamed of having. I'm back with my band again, & teaching full-time too. My voice has never sounded so good."

In 2006 I lost my voice completely for a week. Following that my voice would tire quickly & I experienced excruciating pain in my throat on a daily basis. I soon became aware that my job as a teacher was in jeopardy & my greatest joy, singing, was something I had to give up. After a few months passed where I economized on speaking and became reclusive from the world, I decided this was not going to be my fate and staying depressed about it was not moving me in the right direction. So, I went to an ENT (specializing in voice) who, in the first minute I met him, told me my voice stunk & proceeded to diagnose me with muscle tension dysphonia. He said it was fixable for 600. I left feeling deflated. Suffice it to say I never returned. Next, I saw a Speech Language Pathologist who gave me a series of exercises to do at home. They were useful to a point, but I didn't feel any change in my voice.

I was back where I started only I had a diagnosis which did little to ease my angst or rectify my problem. Having not sung at all for months and missing it greatly, I sang one day and suffered dire consequences.....the pain was unbearable. So, next I decided to search online for a singing coach thinking maybe that was what I needed. Sure enough, when I stumbled on Ryan's website everything on it spoke to me, mostly his story & how he came to be an instructor. I wasted no time in contacting him & when we spoke, I heard a compassion and understanding in his voice I had not experienced thus far on my journey. So, I booked a session and I've never looked back.

From the very first lesson, he had me using my voice without any strain. This was a miracle to me! Ryan is not just someone who knows how to sing, he knows how to teach.... there is a big difference. He is skilled at reading where you are at, encouraging you to grow, nudging you to develop at a palatable pace. His technique just makes sense. I've worked with other coaches years before this problem & always found it difficult to do what singers are "supposed to do". Ryan's guidance has me singing with an effortlessness I've always dreamed of having. I'm back with my band again, & teaching full-time too. My voice has never sounded so good. This is only the beginning.....who knows where I'll be a year from now.

"Ryan is an awesome teacher. It really is true when they say "anyone can be a good singer, but to be a good teacher is a completely different thing." My first lesson was fun and easy, and I learned more in that half-hour than any vocal teacher has ever taught me in the past 8 years...and guess what else???? They were wrong about EVERYTHING!!! LOL"
"....for a while I thought about just giving up because, try hard as I might, I just couldn't get my voice to do what I wanted. People told me it would never change and I should just give up on singing all together. I'm glad I didn't listen to them.... In the short time I've been taking voice lessons, I've noticed a tremendous difference, and so have the people who used to tell me my voice couldn't change. Thanks a ton Ryan! "

"Ryan has made a big difference to my musical confidence. Music has always been something that I loved to do, but for a while I thought about just giving up because try hard as I might I just couldn't get my voice to do what I wanted. People told me it would never change and I should just give up on singing all together. I'm glad I didn't listen to them. I've had vocal lessons before, but basically I was told to just try harder but what I was trying to do wasn't working.

I decided to give singing one last chance with SLS. I still can't believe the difference its made. I'm even much happier with my speaking voice. In the short time I've been taking lessons, I've noticed a tremendous difference, and so have the people who used to tell me my voice couldn't change. Thanks a ton Ryan! "
