Speech Level Singing

Cracking-Hoarseness-Weakness-Strain-Lack of Range

99.9% of all vocal problems are caused by bridges in the voice (that's why you can't sing as high and strong as you want for example). These are registers shifts, low to high, that naturally occur in all our voices (think 1st gear, 2nd gear, etc...). Most alarming is that previous few vocal instructors truly understand these bridges. Ryan Luchuck has spent the last 14 years studying the only vocal technique that trains you to master your bridges......

Speech Level Singing

"Speech Level Singing "...sounds funny doesn't it? What it really means is that your singing voice should be a natural extension of your speaking voice. Most people speak very easily and can talk all day long without getting tired. Yet, when they try to sing, the frustration starts.

Even the most successful singers deal with vocal problems and limitations. With Speech Level Singing, all of these issues begin to melt away. You can sing as strong and powerfully as you choose, with an extremely large range, with about as much physical effort as introducing yourself. "Hi, my name is......" Sounds pretty exciting doesn't it?

Despite what you may have heard, singing is not a mystical process. Great natural singers have an effortless ability to sing low and high, quiet and loud. Now what about the rest of us? While some are more gifted than others, singing is a skill we can all develop. Two things to remember: vocal cord closure and a balanced larynx (the bump at the front of your neck). Once you can sing through your bridges with medium cord closure and a balanced larynx, you will have all the power and range you desire with no strain.

Listen to the following:

 Open Vocal Cords
 Proper Vocal Cord Closure
 High Larynx
 Low Larynx

Developing this coordination can take time. But the beauty of Speech Level Singing is that it won't confuse you with vague concepts and catch-phrases.  Instead, Ryan has been trained to give you very specific personal exercises that, through repetition and guidance, will build your voice into a strong, flexible instrument with no weaknesses. You then take that instrument and play it in any style you wish.
